Little Pluto's Bakery

Hello everyone!!! I’m Cheyanne, the owner of Little Pluto’s—and Pluto is my sweet dog. I know when you hear the name you might think, “Oh, this must be something for her dog! Like dog treats!” But no, it’s not (though that may change in the future!).

Little Pluto’s is an at-home bakery I have dreamed of starting for years. And when I say years, I really mean it—basically since I was in diapers. Okay, that might be a little dramatic, but I’ve loved anything related to baking and decorating since I was about six years old.

I have to give the biggest thank-you to my Mimi. If it weren’t for her, I honestly don’t think I’d be here doing this today. This dream started with her—from decorating gingerbread houses, our annual sugar cookie decorating, joining me in my “how-to” YouTube videos, to trying countless desserts together. She has taught me almost everything I know. She’s bought me so many baking tools and sent me endless recipes to try. And even when she says, “I don’t need any more treats!” I still make her take them home—because that’s one of the ways I can say thank you. She and my Papaw will forever get free treats, no matter how many times I hear “no.”

I also want to thank my family, friends, and coworkers. Now I finally have an excuse to say, “You have to pay if you want a treat from me,” even though they almost always end up getting something for free anyway. My family has always been so supportive of my baking journey, and now when I tell them they have to pay, they do it with a smile. They still manage to get something out of me—but that’s what family is for, and honestly, I’d do the same.

Since I started baking, I’ve always been the person who makes the birthday cakes, brings the cookies, or gets asked, “Can you make this thing I saw on TikTok?” And every time they ask, I enjoy it so much. If it weren’t for their support and encouragement, I don’t think I would’ve started this at-home bakery when I did. They’re the reason I feel confident sharing my desserts with all of you.

My family and friends are the reason I’m here today. Thank you to everyone who has supported me on this journey and helped me get to the point where I can finally say:
